EARS Meets at Deaf Dog Music
660 N. Orleans, Chicago, IL
312-944-4870
Tuesday April 30, 7:30pm
Chicago composer John Ovnik is letting us use his place for this month's
meeting. Tech extraordinaire, (and you can check out his wiring while
you're there) Ken Paul with the help of Joe Stopka from Starin Marketing
and Brian Anderson from Trian Electronics will be demoing Quested Monitors
and products from Shep Associates Ltd. (they make recreations of classic
Neve pre-amps and compressors) If you're in the market for these cool toys,
see Ken after the meeting. Kengineering is now the local dealer for Shep.
Appreciation File
Thanks to Sam Ash "The Music Mega Store" for hosting
last month's meeting. Also thanks to John Larrabee for coming out and
demoing the Tascam DM-24 mixer and the MX-2424 hard disk recorder. Recap to
follow in the next issue.
