EARS friend & Music Studio Manager Chris Shepard opens CRC's doors to host
this event with special guest Scott Esterson of DTS. Scott will start with
surround basics and quickly progress to more advanced subjects like: system
calibration, conceptual mixing approaches, and the encoding process. We'd

Announcements:
Columbia College Chicago's Audio Arts & Acoustics (AA&A) department is happy
to announce the its 1st Annual Hearing Awareness Day titled "Hear Today,
Gone Tomorrow" which will take place at the Hokin Center Annex located at
623 S. Wabash, 1st floor, from 9am-6pm on April 30th.
The student run event seeks to raise the public's awareness of ambient
noises in our urban environment and their effects on our hearing, short and
long term. Additionally, the exhibition will serve to illustrate and
propose measures which can be taken to protect and adjust our hearing in
several environments.
