EARS meets at Columbia College's new Audio Technology Center

Tuesday, March 20th, 7:00pm

(The facility is located on the corner of Wabash & congress 1 block west of Michigan, 1 block east of State and in between Van Buren and Balbo.  Enter on the Wabash side and proceed to the lower level.)  Doug Jones, Acoustician and chair of the Audio Arts And Acoustics Department will explain what went into the design of this new multi studio and control room facility with full tie lines, ethernet based 16 ch cues system, ATC monitors, with API, NEVE and Focusrite consoles.  The talk will be followed by a tour including "The Vault", the facility's 6 second reverb chamber.
