Long time EARS follower, Todd Busteed, invites us to their 3000 square foot, 5.1 capable facility laid out by the famed Walters-Storyk Design Group! Gap Digital uses Fairlight MFX 3 Plus DAWs and Sony DMX R-100 digital consoles and boasts the only, active commercial Foley room in the Midwest to create sound effects for radio, T.V. and film. We'll check out some gear and Todd will talk to us about surround broadcast. www.gapdigital.com

ELECTIONS will be held at this meeting! As I have said, I will be stepping down after 2 memorable terms of service. So far, Hudson Fair was nominated but without his knowledge. After giving it much thought, he declined, so the floor is wide opened. You must be a paid member and should be willing to put the organization first though it has proven most rewarding personally and professionally. You should be an experienced audio engineering practitioner that understands our community and has the ability to reach out to our peers to set up meetings, arrange topics and attract guest speakers.
