Directions: take Kennedy (I-90) or Dan Ryan / Edens (I-94) to Foster then
East. If Lake Shore Drive (Rt.41) exit westbound or you'll go into the lake,
goofy! Get to Kimball, then North to Balmoral westbound, one way and drive
into the (free!) parking lot. If southbound on 41/94, exit at Peterson -
East to Pulaski and turn right (south) to Bryn Mawr eastbound (L) to
Kimball. Do a "Mapquest" if you need more graphic help or use the
Online Map: WFMT Chicago
FYI: It's surrounded by Northeastern IL U. on St. Louis which is one way
southbound. CTA Brown Line ends at Lawrence & Kimball so either Kimball bus
north or hike it to Balmoral.
After checking in with the receptionist at the front door, we'll enter in
groups to the ("Levin") Performance Studio were we will be joined by two
time engineering Grammy® nominee and owner of the legendary Pumpkin Studios
*Gary Loizzo* (see bio below) for a discussion on the biz.
We will be ordering pizza that night and would like to have an idea of the

DESIGNED AND BUILT PUMPKIN RECORDING STUDIOS IN OAK LAWN, ILLINOIS. HE THEN
BEGAN TO ENGINEER AND/ OR PRODUCED OTHER RECORDING ACTS SUCH AS REO, SURVIVOR,
THE HEARTY BOYS TV SHOW, HEARTSFIELD, THE IDES/SHAMES REUNION, JIM PETERICK,
RONNIE RICE, BUCKINHAMS, RAMSEY LEWIS, BUDDY GUY, GENE CHANDLER, BAD COMPANY,
PETER BROWN, JIM SKAFISH, RESURECTION BAND, LIZA MINELLI, DENNIS DEYOUNG, AND
STYX.
DURING THAT TIME GARY HAS RECEIVED OVER A DOZEN GOLD AND PLATINUM RECORDS AND
HAS BEEN GRAMMY NOMINATED TWICE FOR ENGINEER OF THE YEAR FOR THE STYX ALBUMS,
"CORNERSTONE" AND "KILLROY". HE HAS ACHIEVED 2 UNITY AWARDS FOR PRODUCER OF
THE YEAR (SIMMONITA-THE ROSERY) AND BEST ENGINEER/PRODUCER OF A CHILDRENS ALBUM
(TINY HANDS-ROSE RUDOLF).
FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS, GARY HAS BEEN WORKING AS THE FRONT OF HOUSE ENGINEER
FOR STYX AS WELL AS RECORDING AND CO-PRODUCING THEIR LATEST HITS AND RECORDING
