EARS MEETS AT SHURE INCORPORATED Niles, IL

REMINDER
Due to practical constraints, the number of attendees
for this meeting is limited and your RSVP is REQUIRED by Wednesday,
November 16, 2005. Only one person and one guest per response.
A list of attendees needs to be provided for security and safety reasons, so

LOCATION:
Shure, Incorporated, 5800 Touhy Avenue, Niles, Illinois. When arriving by car,
you must approach from the East by heading West on Touhy. Turn right into
parking lot just East of the glass, 7-story building. Enter at the East (not
South) entrance and register at the guard station.
PIZZA DINNER:
Sponsored by the Engineering and Recording Society of Chicago (EARS). The
dinner will be at 6:30PM in the Shure cafeteria. The dinner is free for AES
and EARS members, others $10. RSVP required - see RSVP below - by
Wednesday, November 16, 2005.
AGENDA & PRESENTATION:
Audio electronics manufacturer Shure, Incorporated has been a sustaining
member of the Audio Engineering Society since 1973. In 2004, Shure
completed construction of its 65,000 square-foot, two-story Technology
Annex, which houses equipment and facilities for Engineering research and
development, new product development, quality, service, and manufacturing
support. The presentation will include tours and demonstrations of the
Performance and Listening Center (a state-of-the art recording and product
testing facility), anechoic chamber, RF chamber, and quality testing

Dues are Due: It's that time of the year again. If you haven't already, send

OFFICER NOMINATIONS:
Elections are in November so nominations are being taken. If you think you or
someone you know would make a good EARS president, come to the next meeting and
nominate them. If you can't make it to the meeting, then nominate them by
